Wealthy GOP businessman Mark Pasquerilla made waves earlier this year when he backed Democrat Mark Critz over fellow Republican—and fellow millionaire—Tim Burns in the 12th District special election. Now, three months before now-Congressman Critz and Burns square off in a November rematch, Burns' campaign is taking issue with the way Pasquerilla has spent his own money to boost Critz's political prospects, charging that both men are effectively circumventing campaign finance laws.
